Terms of use
Last updated: 27 August 2026 · Version 2.1
1. General
These terms of use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Domnet website, mobile application and services ("Services"). The Services are provided by Domnet d.o.o., Vršac, Republic of Serbia.
By using our Services you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services. When you register, we record the version of the Terms you accepted together with your account.
2. Use of the services
You may use our Services to:
- Search for properties currently on the market
- View recorded sale prices as a market reference
- Save favourite listings, collections and saved searches
- Contact agents and exchange messages with them through the Domnet platform
- Enter a property you own in order to obtain a valuation of it (section 5)
- Publish and manage listings, for registered agents
Only registered agent accounts may publish listings. Some features require a registered account.
3. User responsibilities
As a user, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Not using the Services for unlawful purposes
- Respecting the rights of other users
- Protecting your login credentials
- Complying with the rules on prohibited content in section 6
4. Agent responsibilities
Registered agents are responsible for:
- Holding valid licences and certifications, and for the accuracy of their details in the register of real estate agents
- Providing accurate property information
- Holding the rights to the content they publish, in accordance with section 10
- Following the ethical guidelines of the profession
- Keeping their profiles up to date and removing listings that are no longer current
Domnet is not a real estate broker. Domnet represents neither the seller nor the buyer, takes no part in negotiations, concludes no contracts and receives no payments in connection with property transactions. The relationship between a user and an agent, and the property transaction itself, is established directly between them, outside the platform.
5. Property valuation
A registered user may enter a property they own and receive a valuation of it.
The valuation is an automatically calculated statistical value based on recorded sale prices of comparable properties in the area concerned. It is not produced by a certified valuer. It does not constitute a valuation within the meaning of the regulations on property valuers, nor an offer, advice or a guarantee of any kind.
The valuation must not be used as a basis for lending, tax, accounting or judicial purposes. Domnet is not liable for decisions made on the basis of a valuation. Where there is not enough data for an area, no valuation is shown.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
Domnet operates a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive users. You may not publish, send or share content that:
- is unlawful, threatening, abusive or obscene, or incites hatred or violence
- constitutes harassment or discrimination against another user
- is false or misleading, including listings for properties that do not exist or are not for sale
- constitutes fraud or attempted fraud, including requests for payment outside the agreed process
- contains personal data or photographs of third parties without their consent
- you do not hold the necessary rights to, including photographs, videos and texts taken from other portals, from other agencies or from third parties without the rights holder's permission
- constitutes spam, third-party advertising or automated messaging
A user who breaches these rules may be permanently removed from the platform and their content deleted.
7. Moderation and reporting
Every listing is reviewed by the Domnet team before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing that does not comply with these Terms.
Messages between users are not reviewed in advance. They are reviewed following a report, in the manner described in this section.
You can report any listing, message or user profile using the "Report" option in the app and on the website, or by writing to info@domnet.rs. We review reports without delay, as a rule within 24 hours of receipt. We inform the reporter of the outcome, and any user whose content is removed is told the reasons for the removal. Notifications are sent through the app and, where necessary, by email.
Reported content is not removed automatically — a moderator makes the decision. Together with the report we retain an extract of the reported content, in order to handle the case and to keep a record of our decisions.
For users in the European Union, this constitutes our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
8. Blocking users
A registered user may block another user at any time. A blocked user cannot send you messages or continue an existing conversation with you. You can reverse a block in your account settings. Blocking does not replace reporting — if content breaches these Terms, please report it as well.
9. Enforcement and appeals
If these Terms are breached, we may take one or more of the following measures:
- returning a listing for re-review or removing it
- issuing a warning to the user
- temporarily restricting the ability to send messages
- permanently closing the user account
- notifying the competent authorities where legally required
If you believe a decision to remove content or restrict an account is incorrect, you may appeal through the app or to info@domnet.rs within 30 days of being notified. Appeals are reviewed by a person who was not involved in the original decision, and we inform you of the outcome together with the reasons for it.
For users in the European Union, this constitutes our internal complaint-handling system under Article 20 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
10. User content
User content means all texts, descriptions, photographs, videos and other material a user posts on Domnet, including listings, profile content and messages.
Your rights remain yours. The user retains all rights to their user content. By posting content, the user grants Domnet a non-exclusive, royalty-free and territorially unlimited licence to store, reproduce and adapt that content — resize it, crop it, convert its format and add Domnet's mark — and to display it publicly, in order to provide and promote the Services: in the app, on the domnet.rs website and in Domnet's own marketing, including social media and advertising for the app.
This licence does not transfer ownership of the content and does not give Domnet the right to sell, rent out or pass the content on to third parties for their own independent use.
What you confirm when you publish. By posting content, the user confirms that they hold all the necessary rights to that content; that the photographs and texts have not been taken from other portals, from other agencies or from other sources without the rights holder's permission; and that the content does not contain personal data or photographs of third parties without their consent.
Deletion. When a listing or an account is deleted, Domnet stops displaying your user content. Content may remain temporarily in system backups, and in the records of reports and decisions under sections 7 and 9, to the extent and for as long as is necessary to handle the case and to meet our legal obligations.
Sale prices. Data on a completed sale recorded through Domnet — the final price, the date of sale, the type and floor area of the property and its location — is retained after a listing or an account is deleted, in a form from which the link to the account that entered it has been removed. This data is used solely as a market reference and for sale price statistics, which are an integral part of the Services.
You can read more about how we process personal data, including account deletion, in our privacy policy.
11. Intellectual property
The Domnet name and logo, the design of the app and the website, the software code, texts produced by Domnet and the database as a whole are the property of Domnet d.o.o. or our licensors and are protected by law.
User content is not covered by the paragraph above and is governed by section 10.
Systematic extraction of content from Domnet, including automated collection (scraping) and reproduction of the database or a substantial part of it, is prohibited without the prior written consent of Domnet.
12. Limitation of liability
Domnet is not liable for damages arising from the use of our Services, except to the extent required by law.
Domnet does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or currency of the property information published by agents, nor of the valuations described in section 5. The user who published a listing is responsible for its content. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, nor any rights consumers have by law.
13. Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on the website. We notify registered users of material changes through the app or by email, and continued use of the Services after the changes take effect is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.
