Account and data deletion

This page applies to the Domnet mobile app and the domnet.rs website, published by domnet doo, Vršac, Serbia. It explains how to request deletion of your account, which data is deleted, and which data is kept and for how long.

1. How to delete your account

A. In the Domnet app — deleted immediately

If you can sign in, you can delete the account yourself:

  1. Sign in to the Domnet app.
  2. Open the "Explore" tab.
  3. Tap ⚙ "Settings".
  4. Select "Account".
  5. Tap "Delete account".
  6. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
  7. The account and its data are deleted immediately and you are signed out. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

B. By email or through the support form

If you cannot sign in, do not have the app, or use an agent account, request deletion as follows:

  1. Email support@domnet.rs from the address the account is registered with, using the subject "Account deletion request".
  2. Or fill in the form on the Support page and select the category "Account questions". Support
  3. We verify the requester's identity and complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest.

2. Data that is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Account and sign-in credentials — email address, hashed password and all active sessions
  • Profile — name, phone number, profile picture and bio
  • Saved properties, collections and saved searches
  • Your own properties and valuations entered through the valuation service
  • Notifications and push notification tokens on your devices
  • Conversations and messages exchanged with agents
  • Support tickets and correspondence with customer support

3. Data we keep and for how long

After your account is deleted we keep only the following:

  • Anonymised statistics — listing view counts and market statistics with no link to your account. Kept indefinitely and cannot be traced back to you.
  • Accounting and financial records for paid services — 10 years, as required by the Serbian Accounting Act. Applies to agent and business accounts.
  • Database backups — your data may remain in backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
  • Data we are required to keep by law or to establish and defend legal claims — for as long as that obligation lasts.
  • Listings published on behalf of an agency are not deleted together with an agent's personal account; contact the agency to have them removed.
  • Google Analytics measures site usage pseudonymously and without any link to your account; you control this in the cookie settings. Cookies

4. Timeframes

Deletion started from the app takes effect immediately. Requests sent by email or through the support form are completed within 30 days at the latest, counted from identity verification. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
